Privacy Policy

DEAD BEAT is a static publication. The honest summary of this policy: we collect almost nothing, and what little exists is handled by two named providers.

What we don't do

• No user accounts, and nothing to log into.
• No advertising or ad-tech trackers.
• No analytics scripts at present. If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics, this page will say so first.
• No sale or sharing of any reader data, ever.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes standard connection data (IP addresses, request logs) to serve and secure the site. We do not access or retain this beyond Cloudflare's aggregate dashboards.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to The Dead Beat Dispatch, your email address is stored and processed by beehiiv, our newsletter platform, solely to send you the newsletter. Every issue contains a one-click unsubscribe that takes effect immediately. We do not use your address for anything else.
